Construction management, whether the contractor or the client is at-risk, provides assurance that budgets and schedules will be met, and that seasoned experts are overseeing the project’s progress. A successful construction management plan is based on a team approach in which the owner, architect/engineer and construction manager work together in the owner's best interest. If construction management is implemented during the pre-construction phase of the project, significant budget and schedule control can be achieved through fine-tuning of the design.
