Diversity Program Introduction
Our
founder, Greg Walton, built a professional organization
of integrity and a management team consisting of diverse
and talented individuals. We are innovators on
such issues as cost, quality, process management,
safety, subcontractor relations and employee relations.
As
part of our continuous improvement effort, we introduced
The Walton Construction Diversity Program. The
intent of this comprehensive program is to change the
culture of our company and affect a positive change in
the surrounding communities where we live and work.
The
Diversity Program consists of Personnel Recruiting,
Strategic Partnership Alliances, and Community Outreach.
The program is designed to promote growth and create
career opportunities in construction for minorities and
women in the communities we serve. We form
long-term business alliances and mentoring relationships
with MBE/WBE/DBE’s, helping them strengthen their
business experiences, knowledge base and future growth.
Walton strives to make a difference. We believe that
Walton must reflect the diversity we see every day, both
inside and outside the company. |
